As individuals, on our own personal journeys, we all have different ways of coping with our emotional struggles in life. Sometimes we have support from others, and sometime we have no one to turn to. We sometimes get through the hard times by isolating ourselves through fear, overwhelm or sadness. In life we have choices to make and different paths to follow, sometimes things go wrong and we lose ourselves in the business and responsibilities of everyday life. We all need support at times.

About me and my practice

I am an Accredited, fully qualified, Integrative Counsellor with a person-centred approach and Humanistic values.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and as such I am governed by their ethical framework within my counselling role. I also hold an advanced DBS check.

I have been in Private Practice for 5 years and work with a number of local organisations supporting the community and professionals. I also attend regular CPD / Courses.

Private Practice since 2018.
Independent Counsellor for Dyfed Powys Police.
Independent Counsellor for DPJ Foundation (Agriculture).
Community Counsellor for 2 Wish, Bereavement organisation - supporting clients, families and professionals.
Specialist Family Counsellor in Palliative Children & Young People, Hywel Dda University Health Board.

BA First-Class (Hons) in Counselling

Previous placements: NSPCC, Bereavement Centre & staff Psychological Wellbeing service at Glan Gwili Hospital in Carmarthen, MIND Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire Counselling Service Relate Couples Counselling, Health & Wellbeing Coach, Smoking Cessation Advisor.

After initial contact by email and booking, I will send you a guide to what to expect from your first session and answer any questions you may have.

Fees

My fees are:

£55 per session for individual - 1 hour
£80 per session for Couple - 1 hour

I work online or face to face and I am based in Carmarthen, Wales.

My availability is Mon, Tues, Wednesday - Face to face
